After trying various strategies, we've found the solution that helped us clear out the frozen MyCAREER save.It appears that the issue here is linked with the clothing MyPLAYER wears and the freeze happens just before the pre-game fashion show triggers.Shop now: Officially licensed NBA Apparel & Gear at the NBA Store.This bug was discovered by players who are working on the Palace Intrigue and Courting Calloway quests in The City, so it's not clear which is responsible for the issue.
We found a few inventory items such as those seen in the picture below. These items contain plus signs that indicate an additional brand reward, however they are missing the icon. Also, some connected to earlier quests may have led to this.Before starting in our next NBA sport, we took out the following items:We are unable to determine which of these items triggered the issue, but those Calloway's Court items seem most likely to be the culprit since they've most recently received.
If you're experiencing this issue engaged in Courting Calloway or Palace Intrigue quests, we recommend getting rid of all the quests after a game restart to see if it resolve the bug.For us, the removals did keep the game freeze from happening and allow that MyCAREER save to run without issue.2K is likely to release an update coming soon that will have a more permanent fix, but we hope this fix will prevent the problem from occurring until that point.
